MWLUG 2017, a three-day user group conference for IBM collaboration professionals
Social collaboration professionals, come join us in Washington DC for the ninth annual MWLUG conference. MWLUG 2017 will be held at the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. This three-day conference will immerse you in intensive exchange of knowledge and fun with other members of our ICS community. Meet with your fellow IT and business professionals and share your experiences and best practices.
As with our 2017 theme “Moving Collaboration Forward,” the MWLUG 2017 conference brings everyone together to share knowledge and expand awareness of innovations in IBM collaboration community, thus building and growing our community.
Registration and Abstract Submission for MWLUG 2017 is now open
I’ve always rated the MWLUG conference… As one of the longest running IBM Collaboration user groups, and now the primary US-based event on the calendar, MWLUG is lead by Richard Moy and the team but has always been run ‘by the people, for the people’ – providing a year-round community for ‘Lotus’-focused specialists from across the USA and further afield.
Whilst the event started with a focus on the Mid-West, it has definitely become more ambitious with locations over the years, and heads all the way east to Alexandria this year. Whilst in Virginia, this location is actually almost in the suburbs of Washington DC, and is therefore within reach of the easily-accessible Dulles International.
The quantity of IBM Connections-related content has grown with each year that has passed, and I expect this to be no different in 2017 – with Connections Pink on the horizon, I am sure that this will be a major talking point.
Thanks for the generosity of the event’s sponsors, registration is just $75 and is open now. Also, sessions abstracts are being invited – so if you have a topic or interest to share, get your session in ASAP!
